NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Thermo Fisher Scientific said after the close of the market on Thursday it has priced an offering of €500 million ($544 million) aggregate principal amount of 2.150 percent senior notes. 

The notes, due in 2022, were priced at 99.788 percent of the principal amount. The issuance of the notes is expected to close on or about July 21. Net proceeds will go toward general corporate purposes, Thermo Fisher said. 

The joint book-running managers on the offering are BNP Paribas and HSBC Bank.
