NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Qiagen said on Monday that it has appointed The Scientific Group (TSG) as its exclusive commercial partner for Africa, excluding South Africa and the Maghreb (Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Sudan and Eritrea).

Based in South Africa, TSG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ascendis Medical. It supplies diagnostic laboratory equipment and consumables to pathology laboratories and provides research institutions and science companies with equipment and associated consumables, as well general lab reagents and consumables.
