NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Qiagen and CareDx announced today that they have signed a deal to combine a Qiagen DNA analysis platform with CareDx's HLA typing kits and interpretation software, and market the combined product to transplant labs.

The firms will put together Qiagen's QIAxcel Advanced automated capillary electrophoresis system and CareDx's Olerup SSP kits and Score software as an additional option for HLA typing processing and data entry for transplant labs.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
