NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – QFAB Bioinformatics today announced that it has joined the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (G4AGH) as an organizational member.
G4AGH's members consist of over 240 healthcare providers, biotechnology companies, and research and research funding organizations, from 27 countries.
"Joining GA4GH demonstrates QFAB's ongoing commitment to implementing and contributing to international best practice in the management of biological and clinical data," QFAB General Manager Dominique Gorse said in a statement. "The evidence is clear that researchers benefit from responsible sharing of their data. Adopting the recommendations of the Alliance will enable QFAB to help our partners to reap these benefits."
Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
