People in the News: New Appointments at Rebus Biosystems, Jumpcode Genomics, Epigenomics, More

Rebus Biosystems: Viet Truong and Ramesh Ramakrishnan

Spatial omics firm Rebus Biosystems has added Viet Truong as VP of operations and Ramesh Ramakrishnan as senior VP of product development. Truong has nearly three decades of experience in the medical device industry. He comes to Rebus from AccuVein, where he was VP of operations. Truong holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Ramakrishnan brings more than 25 years of product development experience in the life science industry. He was senior VP of R&D at Talis Biomedical and has held executive positions at Dovetail Genomics and Fluidigm. He holds a doctorate in zoology from Georgetown University.


Jumpcode Genomics: Brandon Poe

Jumpcode Genomics has appointed Brandon Poe as CFO. He will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's finance, operations, and strategic initiatives. Poe brings 25 years of financial experience in the life sciences, medical devices, and genomics services industries. He most recently served as CFO of genomic telehealth provider Genome Medical. Prior to that, he was VP of finance at Illumina and held senior finance positions at other companies including Sotera Wireless and Inverness Medical Innovations.


Epigenomics: Andrew Lukowiak

The supervisory board of Epigenomics has appointed Andrew Lukowiak as president and CSO, effective Dec. 1. Lukowiak will become a member of Epigenomics' executive board and will oversee research and development, as well as operations. Lukowiak previously served as CEO and board member for Millennium Health, chief operating officer at AltheaDx, and a senior research and development executive at GenMark Diagnostics and Hologic.
