Lucid Diagnostics: Shaun O'Neil, Natalie Carfora, James Fricchione
Lucid Diagnostics has promoted Shaun O'Neil to the position of president. He also will remain as Lucid Dx's COO. He previously was the company's executive VP, and before that was its VP, and he has been its COO since the firm's founding.
Lucid Dx also appointed Natalie Carfora VP, market access, and James Fricchione VP, employer markets. Carfora previously had market access and commercial roles at Myriad Genetics and Eli Lilly. Fricchione was most recently SVP, sales and account management at Cobalt Benefit Group, a Blue Cross-owned third-party administrator.
Invitae: Robert Nussbaum, Ana Schrank
Robert Nussbaum, Invitae's chief medical officer, notified the company that he plans to retire effective Dec. 29, Invitae disclosed this week in a regulatory filing.
Invitae also appointed Ana Schrank as chief accounting officer, in addition to her current role as CFO, effective Nov. 21. Invitae stated that no new financial compensation accompanies Schrank's new role.
Genomenon: Jonathan Eads, Brittnee Jones
Jonathan Eads has joined bioinformatics company Genomenon as VP of engineering while Brittnee Jones has been promoted to VP of product management and customer success.
Eads was previously senior VP of informatics at Absci, a drug and target discovery company. Prior to that, he was VP of software engineering at Denovium. He holds MA and BS degrees in chemistry/biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego and a certificate of data science and machine learning from MIT.
Jones used to be Genomenon's director of customer success. Previously, she was director of field application scientists at Fabric Genomics. She holds a BS in chemistry from Wofford College and a PhD in chemistry and chemical biology from the University of California, San Francisco.
Telesis Bio: Greg Herrema
Telesis Bio, a provider of multi-omic and synthetic biology products and services, has appointed Greg Herrema to its board of directors. Herrema is a senior advisor to Novalis LifeSciences. He also previously spent nearly 20 years at Thermo Fisher Scientific in multiple division and group president roles. Prior to that, Herrema held various sales, marketing, and management roles at General Electric.
