NEW YORK – Nippon Genetics said Wednesday that it has tapped GeneX India as the exclusive distributor of its life science products in that country.
Nippon Genetics, headquartered in Duren, Germany, offers a range of products for cell and molecular biology research, including instruments and reagents for qPCR, cloning, nucleic acid purification, and electrophoresis. It also sells a variety of general laboratory instruments and plastics.
GeneX India was founded in 2004 as a distributor of cell culture products, and now distributes a variety of products for molecular diagnostics development and biotechnology research.
Nippon has previously inked distribution agreements in Japan with Kapa Biosystems (now part of Roche) and in the US with Bulldog Bio.
