Zymo Research Quick-16S Full-Length Library Prep Kit
Zymo Research has launched the Quick-16S Full-Length Library Prep Kit. It offers a fast workflow for full-length 16S amplicon library preparation, enabling researchers to prepare libraries for 96 samples with as little as 30 minutes of hands-on time. The kit is optimized for PacBio SMRTbell and Kinnex library prep kits and is also compatible with Oxford Nanopore platforms.
GeneDx Multiscore Gene Ranker
GeneDex said this week that is has launched Multiscore, a clinical decision support tool that is based on artificial intelligence. The tool is embedded into the company's interpretation platform and will be used to help clinical geneticists focus on the most relevant genes during their analysis. Multiscore ranks genes in exome and genome sequences based on alignment with a patient's clinical symptoms and helps serve patients who do not fit into textbook descriptions.
CareDx: AlloSure Expanded Indications
CareDx's donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA)-based AlloSure transplant health assay is now commercially available for pediatric heart transplant patients of all ages, as well as patients who have received a simultaneous pancreas-kidney (SPK) transplant. Both indications were approved by the New York State Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program.
