Sophia Genetics Sophia DDM for Liquid Biopsy

Sophia Genetics said this week that it has launched an expanded suite of service offerings called Sophia DDM for Liquid Biopsy to further oncology research and tumor mutation profiling. The new offerings will enable tumor profiling with cell-free DNA (cfDNA) analysis and a streamlined DNA-only NGS workflow featuring the company's unique molecular identifier technology (CUMIN). Customers will be able to choose an analysis using MSK-ACCESS powered with Sophia DDM, a decentralized version of the circulating tumor DNA assay developed by Memorial Sloan Kettering that involves deep sequencing of 146 key cancer-associated gene; or will be able to adapt current solid tumor Sophia DDM assays to liquid biopsy samples or request custom liquid biopsy assays for specific biomarkers.

Angle Portrait+ CTC Staining Kit

Angle has launched the Portrait+ CTC staining kit for the identification, characterization, and enumeration of epithelial and mesenchymal cancer cells including those undergoing epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, a key transition step in cancer cells that is associated with tumor progression, drug resistance development, and metastasis. The company launched the kit after its extensive development, optimization, and validation for advanced immunofluorescent staining of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) harvested from a patient blood sample by the company's Parsortix technology. The kit features a direct staining technique and an optimized, vivid dye combination to ensure high signal intensity while maintaining high analytical specificity and sensitivity, Angle said. The kit also includes a CellKeep slide, a CTC harvesting technology that maximizes retention of cells harvested from blood samples for imaging.

Genomenon Curate-Pro, Interpret

Genomenon has launched Curate-Pro, an on-demand evidence curation and variant classification service for genetic testing labs. The service is built on the company's high-speed AI genomic curation engine. In addition, the firm has launched Genomenon Interpret, which connects clients with a member of the company's team of genomic scientists.

Biofidelity: ASPYRE-Lung RUO Reagents

Biofidelity has launched ASPYRE-Lung reagents for research use only. The reagents are designed to enable rapid genomic biomarker panel analysis on existing PCR instruments, and can be quickly implemented without new laboratory staff, sample batching, or complex bioinformatics. The reagents provide sufficiently high sensitivity to enable testing from tissue samples with as little as 10 percent tumor content, the company said.
