Labcorp OmniSeq Insight

Laboratory Corporation of America and OmniSeq have launched the OmniSeq Insight genomic and immune profiling test. The tissue-based test integrates next-generation sequencing technology to advance precision oncology, the firms said. OmniSeq Insight is a pan-cancer solid tumor test for genomic and immune profiling, including tumor mutational burden, microsatellite instability, and immune gene expression. Results are presented in an easy-to-read report that provides recommendations specific to the patient's results based on a proprietary database that includes information and guidelines from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. The test is available to US clinicians exclusively through Labcorp and in Canada through Dynacare, a Labcorp company.

Labcorp and OmniSeq, a molecular diagnostics subsidiary of Roswell Park Cancer Institute, signed a distribution agreement in 2017 for OmniSeq's immune profiling and pan-cancer NGS tests, and they extended the deal in 2019.

Dovetail Genomics Human and Mouse Pan Promoter Enrichment Kits

Dovetail Genomics announced its new line of capture Hi-C targeted enrichment panels. The Human Pan Promoter Enrichment Kit and Mouse Pan Promoter Enrichment Kit incorporate target enrichment technology from Twist Bioscience with Micro-C and Omni-C assays to enable interrogation of chromatin topology surrounding 80,000 coding and non-coding gene promoters.

The products increase sensitivity and resolution while reducing the sequencing burden by more than 90 percent. They utilize sequence-independent nucleases for superior coverage compared to restriction enzyme-based Hi-C methodologies.

DNA Script: Syntax System

DNA Script has launched the Syntax system, a benchtop nucleic acid synthesizer that uses the firm's enzymatic DNA synthesis technology. The platform can make 96 DNA oligonucleotides in parallel, each up to 60 nucleotides long. The Syntax system includes a benchtop DNA printer, reagent and consumables kits, and management software. It requires less than 15 minutes of setup time and can synthesize 20-mers in about 6 hours and 60-mers in about 13 hours. The system also purifies, quantifies, and normalizes the oligos.
