Bruker CellScape Precise Spatial Proteomics Platform

Bruker has announced a new technology for its CellScape Precise Spatial Proteomics platform for highly multiplexed immunofluorescence. Launched in 2022, the CellScape platform captures the entire continuum of protein expression in a biological sample — from least to most abundant — while capturing fine morphological details. The platform uses directly labeled primary antibodies, enabling researchers to build assays by combining panels and/or individual markers, even after the conclusion of an experimental run.

This week the company said it has advanced the CellScape chemistry with EpicIF (Enhanced photobleaching in cyclic immunofluorescence), which expands the range of compatible commercially available fluorophore-conjugated antibodies by nearly tenfold, simplifies assay development, and increases throughput by up to twofold. EpicIF enhances photobleaching efficacy combining a proprietary reagent with visible light to gently erase fluorescence signal from nearly any fluorophore and, like the prior version, the epitopes are preserved while maintaining tissue integrity.

EpicIF is supported by the concurrent release of a new version of the software called CellScape Navigator, which introduces a more intuitive user interface and easy experiment setup. Both EpicIF and CellScape Navigator will be available as upgrades to current CellScape instruments, Bruker said.

CS Genetics SimpleCell 3' Gene Expression Kits

CS Genetics has launched SimpleCell 3' Gene Expression kits, the company's first commercial offering for single-cell transcriptomics. The SimpleCell platform uses a molecular process called kinetic confinement to enable accessible, instrument-free, and scalable single-cell genomics assays. The kits enable a single-day cells-to-sequencer workflow using only standard lab equipment and pipetting, and experiments cost under $500 per sample, regardless of experiment scale or purchase volume, CS Genetics said. The kits also support multiple sample types including blood/PBMCs, cell lines, and disaggregated solid tissues, the company said.

Ionpath MIBIscope 3.0 Spatial Proteomics Imaging Platform

Ionpath has launched the MIBIscope 3.0 imaging platform for high-definition spatial proteomics. The upgraded platform includes advancements that enable researchers to map complex cellular interactions within the tissue microenvironment at subcellular resolution, customize imaging conditions, and set up imaging sessions to run continuously. These upgrades build on existing capabilities of capturing and generating highly multiplexed data from more than 40 biomarkers on a single slide, Ionpath said.

Evobyte ReadStore

Evobyte Digital Biology has launched ReadStore, a platform for storing, managing, and integrating genomic data. According to the Mainz, Germany-based firm, ReadStore speeds up analysis and offers a secure way of managing and sharing FASTQ and next-gen sequencing datasets. The platform comes in two versions, Basic for local installations and Advanced for enterprise use.

Parse Biosciences Evercode Low-Input Fixation Kits

Parse Biosciences has launched Evercode Low-Input Fixation kits for cells and nuclei. The new kits are designed for researchers who have a small number of starting cells or nuclei who ordinarily might not be able to perform single-cell sequencing using fixed cells. Customers can fix up to 96 samples simultaneously in plate format, significantly improving applications such as high-throughput drug screening and the profiling of patient samples from large cohorts, Parse said.
