BD Biosciences Omics-One Protein Panels

BD Biosciences has launched three new Omics-One Protein Panels designed to substantially reduce the cost and complexity of performing single-cell multiomics, and specifically CITE-seq (cellular indexing of transcriptomes and epitopes by sequencing) studies, according to a company spokesperson. The new panels include:

  • BD Omics-One Adaptive Protein Panel, a 59-plex antibody-oligo panel targeting key cell surface protein markers for characterizing cell populations and cell states associated with the adaptive immune system.
  • BD Omics-One B-Cell Protein Panel, a 30-plex antibody-oligo panel targeting key cell surface protein markers on B cells such as CD19, CD20, HLA-DR, and CD138, enabling the characterization of B-cell subtypes such as plasma cells, IgM memory cells, and germinal center B cells and their activated/suppressed states.
  • BD Omics-One T-Cell Protein Panel, a 30-plex antibody panel targeting key cell surface protein markers on T cells such as CD3, CD4, CD8, CD45RO, and CDRA, enabling the characterization of T-cell subtypes such as naïve, effector, and central memory T cells and their activated/suppressed states.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Invitrogen EVOS S1000 Spatial Imaging System

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched the Invitrogen EVOS S1000 Spatial Imaging System, a widefield spectral imaging system that combines multiplex spectral fluorescence, transmitted brightfield, and color brightfield detection. Coupled with EVOS spatial imaging software, the system provides image processing, single-round spectral unmixing of up to eight-plex (plus nuclei detection), and image visualization, according to the company's website. The system is compatible with many types of fluorophores, antibodies, RNA probes, and chromagens from most vendors, Thermo Fisher said. The platform is ideal for scientists entering the spatial biology field, including those specializing in cancer biology, histology, immunology, and neurobiology, the company added.

Yourgene Health Iona Care+ Noninvasive Prenatal Testing Service

Yourgene Health has launched Iona Care+, a comprehensive noninvasive prenatal testing service, in the UK. The service will utilize Yourgene's Iona Nx NIPT workflow and expand the company's current prenatal testing menu, which includes Down, Edwards, and Patau syndromes and other autosomal aneuploidies and monosomies, as well as sex chromosomal aneuploidies. With the launch of Iona Care+, the company's NIPT menu now includes clinically relevant microdeletion syndromes, namely DiGeorge, Prader-Willi, Angelman, 1p36 deletion, cri-du-chat, and Wolf-Hirschhorn syndromes.

GeneDx UltraRapid Whole-Genome Sequencing

GeneDx has launched the UltraRapid whole-genome sequencing test for comprehensive genomic insights for neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU and PICU in as soon as two days. GeneDx said the UltraRapid test will be available for ordering via the GeneDx portal and through the company's integration with Epic Aura in March.
