Maravai LifeSciences Acquires Glen Research

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Maravai LifeSciences announced today that it has acquired Glen Research, a Virginia-based provider of DNA and RNA synthesis reagents.

Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"The acquisition supports our commitment to the genomics market, which we first entered with the acquisition of TriLink BioTechnologies," Maravai President Eric Tardif said in a statement. Maravai acquired TriLink in 2016.

Maravai was launched in 2014 by private equity firm GTCR in partnership with Tardif and Carl Hull, two former Gen-Probe executives. In addition to TriLink, the company also recently acquired analytical product supplier Cygnus Technologies and made a strategic equity investment in life science tools firm Vector Laboratories.
