NEW YORK – At-home testing firm LetsGetChecked said Tuesday that it has completed its acquisition of BioIQ, an analytics-driven population health and diagnostics company.
The deal, LetsGetChecked said, will allow it to expand its reach, offering BioIQ’s consumer, health plan, government, and employer customers access to new virtual care options.
Under the terms of the acquisition, which was announced last November, Atlanta-based BioIQ will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of LetsGetChecked, which is co-headquartered in Dublin and New York.
Financial and other terms were not disclosed.
"With this acquisition, LetsGetChecked gains a trusted partner with an extensive knowledge base and a breadth of experience in serving health plans and employer markets to deliver healthcare solutions at scale," LetsGetChecked CEO Peter Foley said in a statement.
The news follows on the heels of the company's acquisition of Veritas Genetics, which heralds plans for new pharmacogenomic and whole-genome sequencing offerings.
