Hologic Prices $950M Offering of Senior Notes

NEW YORK ─ Hologic on Monday said it has priced its previously announced $950 million private offering of 3.250 percent senior notes due in 2029 at an issue price of $1,000 per $1,000.

Marlborough, Massachusetts-based Hologic intends to use the proceeds of the offering and available cash to refinance its existing 4.375 percent senior unsecured notes due 2025 and will use current cash to pay transaction-related premiums, fees, and expenses.

The 2029 notes will be unsecured obligations of the company and guaranteed by certain Hologic subsidiaries. The offering is expected to close on Sept. 28.
