Euformatics Picks Alliance Global as Middle Eastern Distributor

NEW YORK – Alliance Global (AGBL) said that it has been named the exclusive distributor of Euformatics bioinformatics software in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.

Euformatics, headquartered in Espoo, Finland, offers several software tools for interpretation of next-generation sequencing.

"As the use of NGS technology continues to expand, Middle East users will be able to gain a quick and in-depth insight into their data, while making sure that it is of the highest possible quality," Euformatics Business Development Manager Allyana Thomas said in a statement.

This is Dubai-based AGBL's second exclusive distribution deal of late. In October, the firm signed on to distribute PetaGene's PetaSuite genomic data compression software in the Middle East and much of Asia.
