Dow AgroSciences, Radiant Genomics Expand R&D Collaboration

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Dow AgroSciences and Radiant Genomics announced today that they have expanded their ongoing alliance to include additional natural product targets for discovery research in crop protection and traits.

The companies began working together in mid-2015, signing a deal under which Radiant's metagenomic and engineered biology technologies were joined with Dow AgroSciences' natural products discovery and development know-how, to create products from naturally derived chemistries.

"We are excited to build on the success we have achieved thus far in our current collaboration with Dow AgroSciences and are looking forward to expanding the application of Radiant Genomics' technology platform across Dow AgroSciences' crop protection and seeds research organizations," Radiant CSO Jeffrey Kim said in a statement. "We see the expansion of this collaboration as a strong validation of our technology, team, and approach."

Specific terms of the deal expansion were not disclosed.
