NEW YORK – Devyser Diagnostics said Tuesday that it has inked a comarketing agreement with Hamilton to help automate sequencing library preparation using Devyser's NGS kits.
Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As part for the collaboration, the companies will jointly market Hamilton liquid handling platforms and combine Hamilton’s automation technology with Devyser's genetic testing kits.
"The partnership allows genetic laboratories fast access to highly automated workflows that speed up processing time and improves data integrity for better patient safety," said Devyser CEO Fredrik Alpsten in a statement.
Earlier this year, the Swedish company, which has been developing genetic tests for hereditary disease, oncology, and transplant medicine, announced an in vitro diagnostic development agreement with Illumina.
