NEW YORK – CareDx announced today that it has acquired XynManagement, a provider of software to simplify transplant quality tracking and waitlist management.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
XynManagement's XynQAPI software simplifies transplant quality tracking and Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients reporting, and its Waitlist Management product includes a team of transplant assistants who maintain regular contact with patients on the organ waitlist to help prepare them for their transplant and maintain their eligibility, CareDx said. These products will be added to CareDx's digital solutions portfolio and will be integrated with the company's current offerings, including OTTR.
CareDx acquired organ transplant patient tracking software provider OTTR Complete Transplant Management in April for $16 million in cash. On a conference call with analysts following the release of the firm's second quarter earnings earlier this month, CareDx CEO Peter Maag said the OTTR acquisition had added a new digital revenue line for the company.
"The digital team will continue to focus on serving transplant centers with the OTTR suite of software solutions. In addition, we will enhance the workflow solutions for AlloMap and AlloSure in centers with OTTR software," Maag said at the time.
In a statement on the XynManagement acquisition, Maag said the deal will expand CareDx's direct patient reach into the pre-transplant space. "Our organizations are aligned in our dedication to improve outcomes for transplant patients. The transplant quality solutions bring additional analytics to drive our leadership in transplant artificial intelligence," he added.
