BioNova to Distribute Sygnis WGA Kits in Spain

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Sygnis announced today it will collaborate with BioNova Cientifica to commercialize its TruePrime Single Cell WGA kit in Spain.

Under the agreement, BioNova will promote, market, sell, and support the recently launched whole genome amplification kit. The kit uses Sygnis' multiple displacement amplification (MDA) technology and is optimized for use on single cells.

Sygnis recently raised €5 million ($6.2 million) in private equity, and signed a non-exclusive deal with BioCat to distribute the WGA kit, its first proprietary product.
