If you're over your head with student loan debt and are into doing clinical research, NIH has a program for you. They are now accepting applications for their extramural Loan Repayment Program. The LRP will pay up to $35,000 of your educational loan debt each year if you commit to doing at least two years of biomedical or behavioral research at a nonprofit institution. Just listen to the slogan: "You do the research. NIH will repay your student loans."
