We've All Been There

Topping the list is ego, "Science attracts some straaaange people - and you have to work with them," he blogs. Nick also mentions the frustration of bench work, the repetition of the job, and the career structure of academia. Being a scientist has also hurt his Trivial Pursuit prowess.
