Following on the success of its DragonflyTV program, PBS has started a SciGirls show to "empower your girls to ask questions, communicate, and encourage one another. Under the Microscope's Sam Lemonick is impressed and, though not the demographic being targeted, enjoyed the show. "Their model is a good one. The show is shot in a documentary style and charts the girls' movement through the steps of the scientific method," Lemonick writes. "The camera follows the girls through their joy and frustration, and sometimes pulls one aside for an individual reflection as they move along."
