Answers Research Journal is the "professional, peer-reviewed technical journal for the publication of interdisciplinary scientific and other relevant research from the perspective of the recent Creation and the global Flood within a biblical framework," reports Brandon Keim at Wired. Now online, highlights of the first issue of this journal include, yes, Proceedings of the Microbe Forum, which concludes that God had to have taken more than one day to create this complicated class of organisms since they’re, well, so complicated.

On the bright side, the journal is freely accessible to anyone. Open access fans will be so proud.
