Single Molecule Gene Expression

This week's issue of the journal Nanotechnology includes a paper on the use of "single molecule, ordered restriction mapping, combined with AFM, to measure gene transcription levels from very low abundance samples," according to the abstract. Lead author Jason Reed, who hails from UCLA, worked with NYU and Veeco Instruments for the project.
