Chip Chick this week named science writer Virginia Hughes to its list of Top 10 Women in Technology 2011. “Her detailed articles and clever [analyses] come from the mind of someone who truly understands the subject, as her writing skills go hand in hand with her degree in neuroscience from Brown, with courses in science writing taken at [Johns] Hopkins,” the blog’s Zara Stone Rabinowicz says of Hughes, whose work has been published in ScienceBlogs and Discover, among other places.
