Researchers should report all financial interests related to their work to their institution and NIH should lower institutions' disclosure threshold for researchers' external financial interests to $5,000 from $10,000, suggest the Association of American Universities and the Association of American Medical Colleges. The 12-page letter is available as a pdf at the AAU website.
