The Pope weighs in on science and evolution, but, according to this article in the New York Times, kept his comments fairly vague. In a quote from the article, Pope Benedict XVI says, "I would not depend on faith alone to explain the whole picture. Essentially, he said that neither science nor faith can fully explain evolution. We're willing to bet at least some scientists have other ideas in mind.
