NIH Guidelines and Videos! Oh My

NIH has new guidelines up, reports the blogger at Medical Writing, Editing & Grantsmanship. There are guidelines aimed at study section reviewers and chairs as well as for specific types of awards. She also adds that there are newly expanded training videos up that discuss upcoming peer review enhancements and what reviewers need to know. According to one of the videos, the new scoring system will be on a nine-point scale, with one being the best, and will be used for overall impact/priority and for individual review criteria.
