Science is launching a new journal, called Science Translational Medicine. As Writedit notes, the chief scientific officer will be none other than former NIH Director Elias Zerhouni. The mission statement of the new journal, which will appear October 7th, is "to promote human health by providing a forum for communication and cross-fertilization among basic, translational, and clinical research practitioners and trainees from all relevant established and emerging disciplines."
