In an online early article over at PNAS, researchers lead by Jinsong Li report that they cloned 19 mice from adult mouse skin stem cells. Nine of these furry clones survived to adulthood. Skin, the researchers say, is a viable source of stem cells. Can't say that we'd give up our skin to make more mice, but whatever floats your boat.
