More Plasmid for Less

The Bitesize Bio's Nick suggests changing up your old standby plasmid growth medium. He says that by adding yeast extract or tryptone, you can get a higher plasmid yield for less time and money. Nick posts the recipes for the LB, TB, SOC, and PDM media that researchers from Monash University optimized for plasmid production.
