Omics! points out a recently published paper in Nature Biotechnology that links contrast-enhanced CT imaging to microarray gene expression data from samples of patients with liver cancer. The paper, says blogger Keith Robison, holds a lot of promise for both more effectively visualizing tumors and more safely monitoring drug efficacy for varied patient populations.
