Derek Lowe of In the Pipeline, discusses science publishers’ use of Twitter. He asks whether anyone finds journals’ tweets useful. “I can't help but see some editorial meeting that I imagine went on. ‘Look, everybody's on Twitter,’ says one person around the table,” Lowe writes. He writes that he chooses to follow journal content by checking RSS feeds instead.
