The New York Times reported today on the release of the Nano Risk Framework, which arose from a collaborative effort between DuPont and Environmental Defense to monitor safety issues related to nanotechnology. Because of a lack of information on health and other concerns about nanoparticles, the framework is the most extensive yet in detailing how to evaluate and address the risks of creating and using nanoscale particles.
