Make Way for the Microbiome

In his blog, Jonathan Eisen of UC Davis reports from an NIH workshop where he and other participants are debating the virtues of a project to study the human microbiome. Eisen says that despite significant sampling, technological, and other challenges, "there is no doubt that a large scale Human Microbiome Program is needed and would be very beneficial."
