Looking at the Cloud

At Ars Technica, there's the second part of a two-part interview with HP's Russ Daniels on cloud computing. As CTO and VP of Cloud Services Strategy, Daniels lends his insight to topics such as mobile devices as "sensors" for the cloud and whether HP plans to lease the service or run it in-house, or sell both. "There will be a small number of customers that will have their entire infrastructure delivered as a service, but the vast majority of our customers will continue using data centers, servers, storage, and networks," he says.
