DrugMonkey is continuing on the NIH grant primer series with a revised edition on how to update your grant application -- if you do an update, make it count and have it show your commitment to the project, especially if you've submitted a relevant paper. DrugMonkey had blogged about that about a year ago, but since then the NIH has made some changes. Now any updates have to be two pages or less, submitted 30 days before the review, and your institutional official has to be carbon-copied.
