The BBC reports that the British government will invest £67 million to rebuild the venerable Laboratory of Molecular Biology, run by the Medical Research Council. The MRC will put the money toward renovating the 40-year-old building, promoting new research in areas such as neurobiology, and expanding the lab's commercial activities.
