The HUGO Matters blog has a post about Linda Avey's speech at last week's HUGO Symposium on Genomics and Ethics, Law and Society meeting in Geneva. Avey, who cofounded 23andMe and has since left to start up the Brainstorm Research Foundation for research into Alzheimer's, has also launched her own blog, where she gives an account of her HUGO talk and offers feedback on scientists' reactions to DTC genomics.
