David Ebersman, who was the chief financial officer at Genentech until it was acquired by Roche, has a new gig. According to TechCrunch, he is the new CFO of Facebook, replacing Gideon Yu. Ebersman had been at Genentech for 15 years. He will formally start at Facebook in September. Do we see a social networking angle for pharmaceutical development in our future?
