Blogger Deepak Singh has a post on SciVee, a video website with a science twist. The site was launched by PLoS, the National Science Foundation, and the San Diego Supercomputer Center -- and it "provides scientists, especially authors with a platform to essentially set up video podcasts ... around a publication," according to Singh. (The website also has the beginnings of a social networking site.) SciVee isn't alone in trying to make a go of science videos; other recent launches include Bioscreencast and JoVE.
