Veteran science journalist Carl Zimmer takes Britain's The Guardian to task for publishing a "non-story" about J. Craig's latest research in synthetic biology, which GTO blogged about yesterday. Zimmer points out that Venter has not yet finished building the synthetic genome, and doesn't mince words about the project's progress.
