Guardian reporter James Randerson has a blog post about a new petition to make Darwin's birthday an official holiday in the UK. "If Darwin is your man," he writes, "then tell Gordon Brown by signing this petition on the Number 10 website." The effort was launched by Ian Roberts of the Watford Area Humanists.
