Well, ClaireWatch 2007 is officially over. Congratulations to everyone who took University of Maryland School of Medicine in the betting pool -- you can go collect your winnings. As our sister pub GenomeWeb Daily News reported yesterday, Claire Fraser-Liggett announced where she'll go after her last day as president of TIGR on April 20. She'll be launching the Institute of Genome Sciences at Maryland's Baltimore campus, where she'll report in May. Claire told GTO that several TIGR investigators, as well as their full labs, will be making the move with her.
Good Luck, Claire!
