Evolution is Down in the Polls

Building on yesterday's post that intelligent designers are using junk DNA to bolster their claims, a recent USA Today/Gallup poll shows that these creationist ideas reflect what many Americans think. Two-thirds of those the pollsters called said creationism was "definitely or probably true" while 53 percent said evolution was "definitely or probably true." And being early in the presidential season, the poll also asked the respondents about their political beliefs.
