Celebrating National Lab Day

As part of National Lab Day, a grassroots effort to encourage science education, the National Science Foundation is launching an online resource for scientists seeking advice on how to interact with school teachers. The NSF says it is partnering with other federal science agencies, the National Science Teachers Association, the American Chemical Society, the Gates Foundation, and the MacArthur Foundation to connect STEM teachers with STEM professionals. Teachers can post requests on the website, while researchers can register to offer assistance to match those requests.
