Bioinnovation No More

Science Insider reports that Pfizer's Biotherapeutics and Bioinnovation Center in San Francisco will not come to fruition. In 2007, Corey Goodman had been recruited to head that center and "bring the entrepreneurial spirit of biotech into the pharma fold." After Pfizer bought Wyeth, Goodman left and the San Francisco Chronicle adds that Pfizer is pulling out of its lease for the center.
