Interfaces like Zoomii and Microsoft Surface could become killer apps for visualizing and manipulating genomics data, he says. "I have had the chance to see some very excellent visualizations, but they tend to have poor UIs and interaction models. That's where I suspect we are going to see the most innovation in the coming years."
