Another Wiki to Update

Maastricht University bioinformaticists and UCSF's Bruce Conklin have published a paper in PLoS Biology on a new data wiki for biological pathway information called WikiPathways. "We envision WikiPathways being part of a broader effort to extend curation capacity to larger groups and communities," the authors write. Based on a Wikipedia model, WikiPathways is a collaborative platform that will be used to integrate and exchange data on biological pathways and even includes an embedded graphical pathway editing tool.
